Week Three Reflection

It seems I failed to keep my promise as I promised myself that I would definitely try to post all the things at least a day before the deadline and here I am writing at the final hour. It has been another week of surprise and joy as I was hopping from link to link in my classmates Delicious page and exploring their link. It is my best learning for this week. Now, I constantly remind myself that their are more things in heaven and earth than your philosophy as Hamlet said to Horatio as I am being deluged with surprises after surprises by going through all the links our instructors and my wonderful to the of power infinity classmates have shared with us. So I would   like end my reflection by saying Delicious rocks.

P.S. I am thankful to the instructors for the readings. They have given me the chance of going to my university life reading with a lot of attention to detail and they share wonderful insights about teaching aural/oral skills.

Week Two Reflection

Hello Everyone,

Hope all of you are well. I guess it has been an invigorating week for you as we are learning a lot of new ideas and experimenting with them. I learned quite a lot of things in this week. Our first task was to explore the world of search engines, which opened my eyes towards different kinds of search engines. I am quite certain that I will be able to find suitable materials through search engines like Twurdy as it gives readability statistics. I learned to write ABCD objectives which will help in writing clear and specific objectives for my class. I also reflected on possible change that I can bring to my classroom through the help of technology. Most importantly, I learned the web addresses of websites like Edudimic from the link posted in NICENET by our classmate Hassan Meneimneh, Lebanon. After going through Edudemic site I stumbled upon a website called Collaborize Classroom. I am exploring different sides of the website and thinking of using it to stir up discussion among my students. If any one of you have any idea this website please let me know.

Week 1

Hello, I am Farid Ahmed from Bangladesh. This is my first attempt of Blogging even though I have seen my teacher using blogs with his class. I vaguely remember opening one for myself but as I did not have any purpose or goal so I did not post anything there. As for my experience of opening this blog I did not find any difficulty in opening this but it took some time for me to figure out how to change my language setting. However, the difficulty I faced is due to my not so careful reading of the handout given by our instructor as the handout was very clearly written with a lot of screenshots to help us open our blog without any difficulty. So, I would like thank our instructors for sharing such a wonderful resource.
